Rage Cage Drinking Game: Rules & How to Play

Share on:

Looking for a fun drinking game with party cups that’s a bit more intense than your average game of Beer Pong? The Rage Cage drinking game, also known as Stress Pong, is a perfect alternative!

As with Beer Pong, this game involves drinking and bouncing ping pong balls into party cups, but its setup and gameplay is completely different. It’s a very high paced game that’s played individually or in teams. Perfect for parties.

In this guide, I’ll take you through the rules and gameplay.

How to Play Rage Cage

To play rage cage, you’ll only need a table, two ping pong balls, and 22 or more cups.

There’s no real limit to the number of players, except that everyone should fit around the table you’re playing on.

Setting Up

1. Fill all except one cup half with beer.

2. Fill the remaining cup completely.

3. Place the full cup in the middle of your playing area.

4. Place the other cups in a tight circle around the center cup.

5. Make sure that the cups in the circle touch rims.

Rage Cage Rules

Two players begin by grabbing a cup from the outer circle, drinking it, and then trying to bounce a ping pong ball into the empty cup.

If you succeed on your first bounce, you can pass your cup and ping pong to any player (first bounce rule). When you succeed after two or more, pass them clockwise.

If you accidentally land the ball in a center cup, you must drink that cup and continue playing.

In case you catch up on the other player and you bounce the ball in your cup before the player to your left, stack your cup into the other. This player now passes the stack to the next player, takes a new cup from the center, and continues.

The game ends when all the cups from the center are gone.

In case of individual play, the player who drinks the least wins. When playing as a team, everyone works together to empty the cups.

Wrap Up

I’d like to remind everyone to enjoy drinks responsibly and to be mindful of each other’s well-being. Remember, moderation is key for a healthier and more memorable experience. Also, let’s keep an eye on our friends and loved ones – a small act of care can make a big difference. Let’s ensure our gatherings are not just fun, but also safe and supportive for all.
